Chops Victor Hugo

4 leg lamb chops
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons oil
3 teaspoons horseradish sauce
1 cup thick white sauce
¼ cup fresh white breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Rub chops with cut garlic. Brown chops in the hot oil on both sides. Drain and place into a buttered ovenproof dish. Stir the horseradish into the white sauce and spoon over the chops. Mix together the breadcrumbs and cheese, then sprinkle over the sauce. Cover and bake in the centre of a gas oven 200°C for 30 minutes. Remove the cover and continue cooking for a further 15 minutes.
