Lamb Shanks Supreme

500 g minced steak
½ cup raw rice
2 onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt and pepper
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons flour
¼ cup oil
½ teaspoon chilli powder
1 x 450 g can tomato juice

Roll lamb shanks in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and M.S.G. Brown well in hot oil in ovenproof dish. Add onion, green pepper and garlic, saute until soft. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to lamb shanks, cover and bake in the centre of a gas oven 180°C for 1½-2 hours. Garnish with lemon rind and parsley.
